Future Development Plans

The sky is (not) the limit!

For us, this is only a start. The core development team will work very hard to drive adoption and usage of Akita Finance. We briefly describe below some directions we are thinking:

Accrue economic benefits to AKITA token holders

• We believe tokenomics must be designed in such a way that if the platform succeeds, token holders also succeed

• However, there must be a fine balance and make sure that the model is not too much rent-seeking

Increase the usage of ib tokens

• We will seek ways for ib tokens to be re-useable - e.g., as collateral on other platforms, maximizing benefits for our depositors

Increase the usage of deposit funds in vaults

• Creating a virtuous cycle where deposit vaults maintain high utilization, attracting more capital, which in turns creating more use cases for the fund

More farming opportunities

• Add more supported farming pools and vaults including strategies that will allow farmers to earn more rewards

Superb UX/UI

• Yield farming is quite a complex concept for the uninitiated, let alone leveraging concept

• As new users enter DeFi space, having an easy-to-use interface could be a strong competitive advantage in acquiring this segment

The list above is not comprehensive (we don't want to leak too much alpha here 😏😏😏 ) but rest assured that we are working very hard to grow Akita Finance to become the #1 on-chain leverage protocol on BSC.
